The pickup of an ATV can be increased by about one HP by installing a good air filter. The use of ATV guards and radiator grills lies in the fact that they are used to protect the ATV from damage by rocks and debris. Stainless steel and alloy are used for these grills. Stainless steel grills are sometimes highly polished, hence gets a mirror finish. Anther use of these is against ram-air and force-air effects .

The kit comprises of a pre-jetted carburetor, choice of whirl pull type or thumb-throttle cable, manifold (optional), and all hardware required for an proper installation.
Crankshaft kits are also available in the market for ATVs. The kits consists of rods, top-end bearings and inner ATV crankshaft webs. Multi-ATV cylinder applications are also available and they come with main bearings.
