Similar to all utility vehicles, there are different kinds of accessories available for all-terrain vehicles. Different companies provides a wide range of accessories for the vehicles. Some of the examples of accessories available for ATVs includes storage devices, bags, clothing and seating, much more.
Some accessories are also used for pulling trailers. Storage devices are a form of front and rear utility baskets. The front utility baskets mostly have tubular slots to grab the ATV rack handles, which makes installation easier and lass cumbersome. Some of the storage boxes contains coolers and they can be used for storing bottles,cans and various tools. Some boxes are square-shaped and can be used to storing various other materials. There are also available Quad trunks, generally wrapped around ATV.
These trunks are mostly used when we want to store and transport a large quantity of material during a drive. Apart from these,various specialized fuel storage devices are also available. About 3 gallons of fuel can be stored in these. A common fuel storage device consists of slots for two one-gallon fuel tanks along with space in between for storage. Loungers are special seat cushions having a comfortable seat for driver and twice as storage devices.
Their storage device is attached to the seat and it can be used for storing valuables during lengthy journeys. Another example of ATV accessories includes special fender bags . These bags are such that they wrap around the fender and come with many compartments for easy reachability of cans,bottles and other many other sundry items needed during a journey.
We can place rack bags either behind the ATV or in the front of the utility basket. Crate bags provides another example used to carry bottles during traveling on the ATV. A varying size crate of is covered with a bag, which makes it more stylish than before. There are also available various bottle holders which are insulated and can be attached to fit on different racks or handle bars. Usually a bottle holder can hold up to 20 oz and they are about 6” to 7” long.
Different types of clothes are also available that are specially designed for ATV riders. Apart from this different kinds of headgear are also available for the ATV rider. Special gauntlets are available which keep hands warm and safe from the hard handlebars and acts as are gaiters for protecting foot . They are like high boots and usually cover the feet. Furthermore thumb grips are available for preventing soreness and tiredness of the thumbs .
A multi-purpose tool and utility grid is often used something for stacking tools like shovels and axes used for different labor or field jobs. Many accessories are made for special purposes, an example being the chainsaw mount, which is a metal sleeve and protects the chain. Chainsaw is basically set in a metal bracket. Most of the accessories are affordable and costs not more than $200. A rough list of all the accessories featured here will totally cost around $2,500.
